Valentine's Day Card/ High Hopes Challenge #250: For a Girl and MFTWSC212

High Hopes Challenge #250:For a Girl and
Wednesday Sketch Challenge-Sketch 212

Hello!

For my card today I combine two of my favorites challenge: High Hopes and MFT.
This lovely Valentine's card is for my oldest daughter Katherine, she is my girly-girl. I'm planning to give to her next month for Valentine's Day!

To created this card I used the sketch from MFT and this beautiful stamp from High Hopes. What an awesome combination. First I stamped the little girl on the oval with Memento ink and color it with EK Success Earth Colors Pencils and Gamsol. I distress all the pattern paper with (Antique & Tea Dye) distress inks and also used my distress tool. I embellish her with some stickles, gems, and I did some dots on her overrall. This card measures 5x5. A happy accident I applied the stickles on her shirt and got some on the linen thread. Love how the linen thread looks with the glitter!!!

Here is a close up!

Supplies List:

S.U Cardstock (Crumb Cake, Cherry Cobbler)
My Mind's Eye Paper Pad (Filled with Love)
(Pattys Posies) Stamp from High Hopes
Hearth Stamp from Lawn Fawn (Milk and Cookies)
Memento Tuxedo Black & S.U inks (Raspberry Ripple, Primrose Petals)
Distress Inks (Antique, Tea Dye)
EK Success Earth Color Pencils
Gamsol from Gamblin
Linen Thread, Clear Gems, Stickles (Diamond), Uniball Signo Pen, Sheer Ribbon, Maroon Button, and tiny brads.

And the inside!

I finished the inside with the same beautiful stamp and pattern paper I used on the from. The (Love You) sentiment is a stamp from S.B.
Hope you guys are being inspired with my card this weekend. I also want to thank you for the amazing comments. Make sure to check out the High Hopes Challenge and MFTWSC blogs for tons of inspirations.
