"Bridal Shower Card"

and

Happy Saturday everyone,

Today, I want to share the card I created for my good church friend!

This is the card I'm giving her for the "Bridal Shower" today.

I have so much fun creating this shabby chic card using "Megan" from Prima Marketing. She is so adorable and paper piecing her clothes is so awesome! I used paper from my stash from different companies.
I stamped the image with Memento Tuxedo Black, and colored with my Copic Markers. Some of the flowers I used are from my wedding... when I got married long time ago my mother and I did almost all the decoration for my wedding so I have flowers left. It's so amazing to me how good the flowers still looked.

Here is another photo!

I used 3D adhesive to pop the layers of the card. I also used my "Star Dust Stickles" from ranger, Adhesive Gems & Pearls from Recollection, White Lace from my stash, and Distress Inks from Tim Holtz.

Here is the inside!

I finished the inside using the same paper. I distress the edges with my paper distresser tool and distress inks both from Tim Holtz.

Hope my card inspired you to created something different and awesome this weekend. My card is for Stamp and Created Challenge, and OCS March Challenge. Don't forget to leave me a comment.

OCS March Challenge

OCS March Challenge: Anything Goes!

Hi,

The inspiration for this card came from an email I got from  Pier 1 imports. Silly right!!!
I keep looking at this beautiful living room photo with lots of blues and earth tones. Plus I remember I was in need for a masculine card. This email was a win...win for me!

So this is the card I created thanks to that email. I used my new stamp set "Big Day" from S.U. I stamp the sentiment with versa mark first, them I stamped again with (midnight muse) ink, after I have stamped it twice I used my clear embossing  powder. The cake and candles are from the same stamp set. I fussy cut it and colored with my copic markers. The photo from Pier 1 imports show some metal accessories so I used brads to copy the photo.

Here is a another photo!

This card measures 5X5 inches, and  have lot of layers. To pop this card I used plenty of 3D foam adhesive. The paper is (feels like home) from Little Yellow Bicicle. The cardstocks I used is (Early Espresso, Crumb Cake, Pacific Point, and Soft Sky) from S.U

I emboss the (Crumb Cake cardstock) with a Darice embossing folder, and distress all the edges with Tim Holtz (Tea Dye & Walnut Stain) distress inks. The (Heart Banner) is from La-La Land Crats Dies. I die cut this banner with some glitter paper from my stash. I tie the (Heart Banner) with some linen thread and used my glossy accents and my wink of Stella on top of the word cake and cake plate.

Here is the inside!

To finish This card I stamp the cake image again with (Tea Dye) Distress ink. I also distress the edges of my (Whisper White) cardstock.
Hope you guys see your stores promotion emails in a different way now. We never know what inspiration we can get from them. and also some good sales...lol!!!
