Hello High Hopes Friends,
Have you all seen the new stamps from High Hopes???
They're awesome right!
Today I am using "Bob's A Surfer Dude"
I stamped my image on watercolor paper with Black Archival Ink. I let the ink dry and then I colored
with my distress inks. For the background I used a technique call "watercolor smooshing"
To created the background I also used Distress Inks, Watercolor Paper and a piece of Acetate or Clear Plastic Sheet.
The background was to bring so I decided to cover it with vellum. You can still see the
"watercolor smooshing" technique on the back. I also used a wave stamp from my stack.
I pop "Bob" with some 3D foam adhesive. I also used some glossy accent of his glasses.
For the sentiment I stamped three times, because I paper piece. And pop it with my 3D foam
adhesive. I used some Tim Holtz brads and S.U Linen Thread.
Distress Inks I used:
Waves & Background; Broken China, Peacock Feathers, Cracked Pistachio, and Evergreen Bough
Skin & Hair; Tea Dye, Walnut Stain, and Vintage Photo
Surf Board & Glasses; Fired Brick
Short & Sentiment; Wild Honey
Sentiment: Peeled Paint
Looks like "Bob" is having an awesome day surfing those cool waves...right!
Here's a Link for another card I created using the similar technique.
